In 2019, my client established requirements to redesign the results page for a better user experience. After consulting with the development team, I decided the best approach was to create an API based on the search query that the front-end could consume and render the result components with limited results. We also wanted to establish a load more function that would allow the user to see more results without having to re-load the page. The end product netted positive results as it reduced load times and allowed the user to access more information about the location before it went into the detail page.
